Every effort has been made to ensure photography, descriptions and details are accurate at the time of publishing, however the manufacturer’s product specifications may change and we will try our utmost to maintain the accuracy of the information we provide. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully as they contain important information about your order.

Making A Purchase

Buy Securely Online from Floatron UK using Paypal Secure Payments.

 Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept all major credit and debit card payments on our website via Paypal, you do not need a Paypal account to use this service.

You may also send your credit card information via phone, fax or post where we accept most major cards with the exception of American Express and Diners. We are also able to accept payments via bank transfer, please email us for details.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

VAT at a rate of 20% is applicable and included on all products sold within the EU.

Remittance Terms

All items must be paid for in full before they are despatched.

Shipping And Handling

We use Parcelforce for large items with mainland the UK & the EU and Royal Mail for smaller items – we reserve the right to change shipping methods without prior notice.

Postage is free of charge within the UK, and £15 for all EU orders, regardless of size.

Delivery

Items are usually despatched on Wednesdays. Items sent within the UK will usually arrive within two working days of despatch, and items sent to the EU usually arrive within 7 working days.
Back Orders

In the event your item is not in stock, we will back-order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Cancelling your order

If you would like to cancel your order, you may do so by contacting us via email or letter, at any time before despatch and up to 7 working days after your delivery. Cancellations made during this period will be reimbursed in full provided you have notified us of your intention to cancel as outlined above, and in the event goods have already been delivered to you, that they are returned in accordance with our returns policy.

 

Returns Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with any item you buy from us, please email or write to us via the details given on the ‘Contact Us’ page. We will provide clear instructions for the return of the goods for refund or exchange. Return postage costs are not pre-paid and are your responsibility. The costs will be reimbursed by us only if we have supplied damaged, faulty or incorrectly specified goods. You must return the goods, together with their packaging, in the same condition as supplied to you. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive (http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2000/2334/contents).

Although we are committed to protecting your information provided over the internet, and use advanced security measures, we cannot absolutely guarantee the security of your information nor be responsible for any loss, misuse or alteration, as is the case with all computer networks linked to the internet.

Data protection – Information collected for order processing and payment processing will not be used for any marketing purpose or passed to third parties, with the exception of where products are sent direct from manufacturers.  Customer details are passed to PayPal or Stripe in order to process the payment, when placing an order online, the customer must tick the Terms & Conditions tick box to confirm their acceptance of the Floatron Terms & Conditions.

The majority of the information listed in the General Data Protection Regulation Policy under ‘Information the Company holds’ is held at the registered address of Floatron UK, Polhampton Farm Office, Ashe Lane, Ashe RG25 3BS. The information is kept in filing cabinets and on password protected computerised systems which is additionally backed up on cloud storage.
